Selection through written examination only; no interview. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% UR, 36.5% BC, 34% EBC, and 32% for SC/ST, women, and PwBD as per state rules.

Two objective papers, 2 hours each: Paper I General Studies (125 questions, 100 marks); Paper II Solid & Liquid Waste Management domain (125 questions, 100 marks). Merit list based on written exam; tie-breaker by date of birth (older higher), then Devanagari alphabetical order of name. No revaluation.
